Marco Gallegos
Industrial Designer

Marco Gallegos was born in 1982 in San José, Costa Rica.
He began his studies in industrial design at the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
Ever the adventurer, Marco travelled from Costa Rica to Germany, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Product Design from the HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd in 2009.
Marco’s next journey was to the US, where he continued his studies at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, receiving a Master of Fine Arts in Furniture Design in 2013.

Throughout Marco’s career, he has worked for renowned design firms in Europe and the United States like Studio Hannes Wettstein in Switzerland, EOOS Design in Austria, Syn Design in Germany, the Rockwell Group in New York and Kohler Co. in Wisconsin. In 2018 he founded TTATO a furniture label based in Berlin.

Marco has collaborated in projects for Knoll, Stellar Works, RBW, and Steinway & Sons, amongst others.
